Golden Hour Management

RADHEE is appointed Consultants to the Health & Family Welfare Department, Odisha for Golden Hour Management in trauma Patients in the State. The scope of engagement includes developing the Policy, guidelines, curriculum, SOP, Flow chart, formation of committee to address all the four steps of Golden Hour Management.

  1. First Response – First aid in platinum 10minutes
  2. Pre-Hospital Care – Ambulance Service
  3. Transportation to hospital – Speedup ambulances
  4. Hospital Care – Trauma care in hospitals

Outcome

  • Resolution of the Private Ambulance Integration as per National Ambulance Code
  • Resolution of private ambulance registration with health department and mandatory NOC from health department for vehicle registration with RTO it’ll ensure private ambulance service should act as Level 4 TCF
  • 48 hours free treatment FTTF - Fund for Trauma Treatment Facility in private hospital which has helped to reduce the post-accident death
  • Upgradation of Level 1 TCF at SCB Medical College, Cuttack and Upgradation done as per GoI Guidelines
  • Enrolment briefing of Group D staff for Right Help at SCB MCH, which has reduced the secondary injury due to mishandling
  • Enrolment briefing for Nurses staff on importance of minuteness in treatment and its impact on patient’s recovery which has reduce the secondary infections and complication in trauma patients at SCB MCH
  • Formation of working team of Level 1 TCF at DHH Khurdha and Civil work and other required files sent for approval and budget
  • Committee formed for developing the training module of Group D staff’s training on right help
  • Develop concept note and road map for the Nursing Staff training in Advance Trauma Management
  • Develop the road map for public awareness for Role of Good Samaritan and Give way to Ambulance
